2004 Forester XT
5 speed manual
161,xxx miles
$10,000 B/O NO TRADES
The FXT is a great sleeper as it is boxy as hell, sits higher than the wrx, but, weights around the same as the WRX wagon. Not only that, it has the best transmission ratio for these cars making it run high 13’s stock! (4.444 final drive ratio). They offer a lot of space in the trunk due it being taller, and the car also has heated seats standard.
Replaced with STi long block (B25 heads) Aug 2012
When this was replaced under aftermarket warranty, they also replaced the timing belt and related parts, as well as the clutch and flywheel (have receipts).
During my tenure, I have put a ton of money and parts into her. I purchased new parts through Subaru and all these items were replaced within the past 1k miles. Only selling because I needed something more family oriented (already purchased).

I know there are more parts that I replaced in this car. I’m looking just to get back most of what I have put into it. I will be losing money as it currently is priced.
I started the car tonight (5/21/13) and I still need to put the finishing touches on her before she can be totally sold.
I will be rebleeding the brakes, getting her an alignment and a state inspection. The car will have a low boost, very conservative base map. You can have your own tuner do whatever you want to the car
As with any car with 160k miles, this one too has some scratches a couple of dings and an indentation on the passenger fender.
