The time has come for me to get back into a sport sedan after 3 great years with this Forester XT. One of my favorite cars I have owned ever. This car was purchased CPO and still has a warranty through December so you can buy 100% knowing the car has no issues as they would be covered for free.

Recently the car overheated and Subaru decided to replace the entire motor, turbo, waterpump, thermostat, and all gaskets. So the majority of the drivetrain has ~200 miles!

2009 Forester 2.5XT - 69k miles
Has most every available option and is truly hard to find an XT with these options

  • Leather
  • Heated seats
  • Nav/DVD
  • Sunroof
  • ASA 18" wheels
  • Factory STI appearance package
  • All new rotors and pads about 3 months ago

This will make someone a great DD. Did the dealership replace the entire longblock as an assembly? Which transmission is in it?

God damnit. If I couldn’t loath the fact that my wife just bought a POS Traverse any more…

What are you looking into getting now?

Hrmmm…I was looking at the outback sport or WRX format but this does have some appeal. Might need to scoop a loan soon.

They did and I will include all paperwork as there is now an extended warranty on the new parts installed.
Auto trans which I believe all from this gen are in the US. ?

Doit. I priced it in the middle of the range of cars.com so I figure all the new stuff and options make it a sweet deal for someone on here I hope.

2013 - 14 CPO or new S4 I think

You will love it. This car has been such a great DD. Main reason im going back to a sedan is that my wife just got a new Outback so I can use hers when I need the space/utility.

I just want to point out, that this is the most amazing car in the history of cars.

Someone should definitely pick this up. If I wasn’t balls deep in buying moar sprinter vans for the business; id be all over it.

It’s cause I only have it listed here. At some point I might try C-List or cars.com and if that doesnt work ill trade it in.

I just wish this wasn’t auto. Manual and I’d have bought it already! Such a sweet whip.

Sadly in the US I dont think this gen came in manual. Man that would be sweet though. I hate to say it(lazy/old) but after having this as a DD for 3+ years I will be buying auto for DD use now. It ruined me.
