2004 GTO, 650rwhp, Built Motor, Built 4L80e Trans

I am selling my 2004 Pontiac GTO. I purchased it new in September of 2004. I have meticulously cared for this car since new. It has never been driven in snow or salt. It has been garaged it’s whole life and properly stored for winters. It could easily pass as a 10k mile car. It has a torrid red exterior with black leather interior. It was originally a 6 speed car, it now has a built 4L80e automatic transmission. It currently has about 43k miles on the clock, and the oil has been changed every 3k miles with synthetic. I also have kept a log book on this car with everything that goes into the car. Every tank of gas and every oil change is documented in my book. The car in it’s current state makes 650rwhp on 93 octane and methanol. The modifications are as follows.

370ci forged iron block with Diamond forged dished pistons, Scat forged rods, LS6 cam, 241 heads with dual springs, hardened pushrods. Compression ratio is ~9.5:1.

Built 4L80e transmission with TCI standalone controller and Yank 3600 stall

STS Turbo kit with Turbonetics TC76 turbo and front mount intercooler.

CoolingMist methanol system.

60lb/hr injectors, Walbro 255 with voltage booster

BMR Axle Stubs

2006 Front Brakes

2006 Rearend

Car has other smaller mods as well that I’m probably forgetting at the moment, things like line lock, driveshaft loop, gauges, SLP rear swaybar, drag bags, trans cooler, etc.

The car has gone 10.45@134 @ NYIRP with only a 1.71 60’.

Car is tuned for 15psi.

Here are a couple pics as well… the car looks almost bone stock on the outside except the tailpipe and FMIC, that you can barely see.

$25k. Would be interested in partial trade of a higher mileage Evo 8-9, B5 S4, or C5. Car is located in Rochester, NY. Feel free to ask any questions if you are interested.

Is this the same GTO that was at new ear a couple years ago? Sounds awesome. Wish I was in the market.

Hmm I’ve had it on the dyno there a few times but it’s never been worked on there.

GLWS ADAM  great guy! Never been in it since it was swapped to an auto but can say that it scared the shit out of about 2 years ago…

That was a black auto car with a very similar build STS kit w/ a 76mm. That car went 10.4.

Any other changes from 1 year ago besides the tranny?

Not really. The tranny is a pretty big deal though. I was the first person in the nation to swap to a 4L80e from a 6 speed. But it’s nice knowing that your trans will last with whatever you can throw at it… it’s not going to blow up like a 4L65/60 would. Plus you still have overdrive…

Such a bad ass car!!! I hate to see you sell it adam!!!

I was hoping to see this go 9’s this year!!!

It still may… I wish I had more time. If I don’t have much going on this weekend I think I might put my heads on and crank the boost…

C’mon rock solid 10s (maybe 9s??) car here… drive it anywhere. AC… pump gas…

Bump

What other heads do you have for the car, 6.0?

Heads not headers… 317s

I can’t type.:run: What are those 6cc larger chambers? How much more boost do you think you’ll run?

They’re 72s mine are about 67 right now… and the runners on the 317s are larger as well. I think 19psi with ARP studs and the 317s would be fine on 93 and meth… and be fun

Still here, went 10.45@134 this weekend.
