I purchased the S4 as a CPO’d car in February 2009. Most of the miles to this point have come from my 60 mile daily commute. The car is an obvious joy to drive but has never been tracked or autocrossed. The car has very minor wear and tear for a car of its age/mileage but I would say with confidence that this car is well above average both on the interior and exterior. I am very meticulous in its maintenance. The oil is changed every 5k miles with OEM filters and OE spec Castrol Syntec.
Currently the car has a blown hood strut which I will be replacing this week and I plan on replacing the Xenon bulbs as the left HL has started flickering and they should be replaced as a set. There is very minor wear on the driver side bolster from the previous owner, but it is very minor (see photos below).
Car has no rust and has never been in an accident.
The car currently has a built to order Fast Intentions cat-back exhaust (installed at 41k). The exhaust is a full SS cat-back with X-Pipe and 8" resonators. This is an amazing sounding exhaust that isn’t obtrusive in to the cabin at all, which was important to me with as much highway driving as I do. I also have the full stock unit I can put on if you don’t want this. I also have two spare front rotors to go with the car.
