2006 BMW M Roadster

Dad is looking to move the roadster. Never seen bad weather and extremely well maintained. New tires and battery. Condition is great with only some lower valence curb marks.
22k and counting miles. Looking for $28,500 obo
Car is in Jax, but figured I would share.

What’s his bottom dollar?

No clue, I can ask him.
I am sure he will get a trade-in quote and add the tax benefit. But used car market is strong and I am sure there is more of a market down there.

Cool driveway

GLWS!

These rule, and that seems like a great price for those miles.

Very cool.

Both of our dads live in jax! Wassaaaa! My dad lives in mandarin

Gl man!!

Why even bother posting if that’s your question?

Very cool car and driveway haha. GLWS!

I hate this as well. If you’re interested in it, make a cash offer. “what’s your bottom dollar” is essentially asking you to lowball yourself.

Cash talks, always

Less grass = less mowing.
Extremely fun car and I enjoy having it down there for when I visit. I drove it to Orlando and it was actually pretty comfortable on the trip. Nothing like having the top down and having enough power to do what needs to be done. Plus nothing seems to shift as well as a BMW gearbox.
Regarding bottom dollar, I knew what I was getting into when I posted here. I was expecting the first post to be " I will give you $20k if you hold it till next spring, I think my grandma is going to die and I should get some cash by then"
But there are some people on here that would enjoy this car and could offer a fair price, so I figured I would share. If you are interested, I am more than happy to get you in contact with the old man.

this. i had an m coupe with 20k more miles and i sold it last year for like $30k+, fucking awesome car too someone should pick this up! glws

GLWS!

LOL.

Bump.
He just sold another car so this thing needs to move. Any BMW boards I should post on (I’m guessing there is likely a minimum post count)?
Let me know if there is any interest here. I’m going down next week so I can test drive it for a couple hundred miles and let you know whatever you want to know about it.

you can try 6speedonine and bimmerforums. price looks a little high to me since this doesn’t have the desirability of the coupe, but since the miles are very low and no winters you might get a bite.

Thanks for the suggestions and I am sure there is some room in the price.
Desirability is in the eye on the beholder. Two totally different markets, people are not going to cross shop the coupe and the vert. I am sure it will find a home. You looking to add another BMW to the stable?

Agreed, but this whole “I have cash” shit has to stop too. I don’t give a flying fuck if you have the amount in the bank ready for spending, so don’t brag about it. “I have cash” WTF If I were selling my car I’d feel much better about a certified bank check than a stack of bills that may be counterfit. [/rant]

X…

Couldn’t agree with you more- I never understood the “cash” idea. If I’m selling something I’m not more inclined to accept the value in cash than I would be a bank certified check. It’s all money that’s going into my account. I’m not gonna drop the price of a car just because someone is offering me cash.

The original intent of “I have cash” is not having to deal with the hassle of waiting for a person to get financed.

Cash is easier, not to mention not paying sales tax is nice for the buyer.

This is exactly what my uncle wants, but I know right now he wants another work vehicle to tow a boat with since our work van tows a 30ft camper. Gotta know how to have fun when you travel for work.
