Looking for options in doing something to a mazda6 4cl auto?
motor, suspension… found a lot of items for the mazdaspeed 6 but not my model?
you normally buy a 4 banger for gas mileage. If you wanted more performance, you should have got the v6.
Mazdas are a little bit limited, they don’t have the aftermarket support that Hondas or a lot of other makes have. Unless you want to get one of the turbo kits, you are pretty much limited to I/H/E and your typical suspension upgrades. It seems like with the mazdas it is either all or nothing for performance mods, there isn’t much of a “in-between” range.
EDIT: You can look into using some of the MS6 components on your car though. I am not sure what would work for the 6’s, but I know for the 3, you can swap out suspensions parts and some performance parts (for example I have an MS3 exhaust on my non-turbo Mazda3). Check out one of the mazda forums and see what you can find.
