The YZF-R6S will go for $8199 in blue and white and $8299 in “raven,” or black, and will be available in November 2005.
The new FZ-1 will sell for $9099 in either red or silver, starting in February 2006.
The FZ-6 will be offered at $6799 in either red or blue, starting in December of 2005.
For the 2006 R1, yamaha will offer full options including magnesium wheels (marchesinis i believe) as well as ohlins suspension. from the looks of the picture, the bodywork remains the same as previous years.
For the 2006 R6, yamaha has redesigned the bodywork a bit in the cosmetics department but no info is available on performance. check out the short side-exiting exhaust!
That R1 looks like sex on wheels :shock: although I’m not so sure magnesium wheels are a safe option for street riding. I’d hate to see what happens if you hit a pothole downtown with one of those.
R1 LE has the wheels, the upgraded suspension, and the torque backing clutch and there will only be 500 around with the plaque number obviously. you can only get the limited edition in the yellow/black, but you can get the regular R1 in these colors yellow/black, blue, and the hot and sexy all black. im my eyes it aint worth the extra money, thats just me.
