These bikes have an unmistakable roar unlike virtually anything else. Plus with all the L twin torque, they feel very strong on the street… Somthing like 91 lb-ft. I love mine, I hope this one finds a good home…
i think you’ll appreciate an SS bike. not the same cool factor as harleys, but fuuuuuuuuu so much fun if you like accelerating, braking, cornering, physics.
Just did some quick research for giggles, your bike is priced well for the mileage, found one with 12k miles for 7900, but for the most part you’re right where it looks like the bike should be. I just think people (including myself) are traveling into the unknown with a Duc or BMW or Aprilla for example. I’m not sure what these bikes would do or need at 20k miles. All the jap bikes I had basically had their oil changed and air filter done and that’s all they ever needed, so I’m used to that comfort zone. Obviously, they’re much cheaper and much less exclusive, not as nice IMO to look at either compared to this.
EDIT: At least you’re not one of those owners looking for $9,000 for their 2006 636 with 30k on it, LOL, a couple guys on here had their bikes for sale for over 2 years, don’t ask who cause I don’t care to remember. “It’s got the extra 36 cc’s you don’t understand!” LOLOL
EDIT #2 : Just keep it unless the sale really impacts your financial life, but I feel as if you were desperate to sell this would have been gone a long time ago. This is the first time in 8 years I haven’t had a bike and I sure do miss it. Keep it!
