The pics don’t do much for me. Maybe it will look better in the real world. If they put the right motor in it (LS7 option) then the looks will be fine!

The new LSx architecture is the way to go. That car, with the 427ci LS7, if it sold for under $40K would be dynamite! But GM traditionally doesn’t put the best motor in the Camaro - they always keep it one step behind the 'vette. This kind of corporate holding back and timidity is emblematic of what’s wrong with GM. As far as perfomance cars go, GM was at it’s best in the 60’s when they fought the horsepower wars internally as well as externally. But even that wasn’t easy. As I understand the story, John DeLorean had to pull some pretty slick moves to bring the GTO to market. The first year, it was actually just an option package for the Tempest, not a separate model line. They were worried about publicitiy and that it might be faster than the Corvette for less $$$.
An LS7 Camaro would steal a lot more sales from other companies than it would from Corvette.

I have to say though I like all the new designs, because most new cars all look the same.
I would take the new challenger design over this camaro or the new stang
have they not added that video yet? all I get is the 1/6/06 one, with leno and sales numbers.
and I love all three concepts, honestly. once again the pony cars lead the way for good looking, affordable domestic fun.
I still love the new mustang, and the fact that it’s causing GM and chrysler to scramble for an answer.

This pic is the first good one ive seen with someone standing next to it. That helps show that its alot smaller than the initial pics made it seem. I like the sort of chopped roof look too.
During the unveiling, Bob Lutz stepped out of the driver seat with no problem. If a guy in his 60s/70s can get out of a coupe that easy, then the ergonomics are dead on.
