im not sure what it is about that, but its a trend on the new cars. is like they are cutting corners and trying save parts, but they putting completly useless and hideous tips on a straight pipe.
i ordered a new muffler for my 96 grand am and they sent me one just like this and i was going to cut it off and put the old tip on, but it was just too much work. i now have two different tips and it just looks retarded.
