I thought you could get a 6.0 with the LTZ option? Or am I thinking of the 6.2?
6.2 in ltz but had to be a crew cab in 09. May have changed in following yrs.

6.0L would have had Vortec Max emblems on the doors, and pretty sure the 6.2L was only in crew cabs

1500 Trucks:
The 2007-2009 GM trucks were available with a 6.0 but it would be a V-Max truck. My 2008 GMC has the aluminum 6.0 same as a Pontiac G8 6.0. The 6.2 was offered in the 07+ Denali version. 2001-2007 Denali & C3 trucks, 2004-2007 VHO Silverado and Silverado SS trucks had the iron 6.0L. LTZ’s in crew cab have the option to be a 6.0 but not many went out that way.
