HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE &
ELECTRONIC DROP OFFSeveral times a year, the Department of General Services conducts a Household Hazardous Waste & Electronic drop off event. Items such as , but not limited to, paint, batteries, antifreeze and boric acids are considered hazardous waste and should never be placed curbside for disposal. Please see below for a full list of hazardous materials.
All participants must pre-register to be admitted. To register call Care Environmental toll- free at 1-800-494-CARE (2273).
Only residents of the City of Albany are welcome. However, small businesses that generates less than 32 gallons a month of hazardous waste may participate but will be charged a small fee.
All hazardous waste days will run from 4pm to 7pm and will take place at:
