well I FINALLY got to the track after a lame summer of barely driving the car/no time with work and family stuff…I went out to NYI Saturday afternoon for the quick 16/open racing program…I made a total of 3 runs since there had to be at least 100+ cars out running…What’s funny is I see these fully gutted race cars running slower times than turbols1 with his full street setup n it makes me laugh lol
Anyways, first pass I botched the launch with a 2.3 60 ft :lol: and ran a 13.3 @109…2nd pass was a little better 1.89 60 ft (track cooled down A LOT so I spun pretty bad) 12.54 @ 110.25 and running one more “glory” pass netted me a 1.83 60ft with a 12.51 @ 110.93 (almost 111 lol)
All in all if I had more seat time and practiced launching for more than a week I definately could have hit mid-low 1.7s and possibly gone 12.2-12.3 at 110-111…I DEF need a shift light bc I short shifted the 1-2 and 3-4 at 5800 where I took the 2-3 out to 6300ish…not bad for a car with “cheap parts” :lol: I want to hit as close to 12.0s without meth before I go that route next year…quickest stock turbo wrx time is a 12.0 but he’s got a super aggressive meth tune now and either blew his turbo/motor so he won’t be running anymore this year lol
