While I Hate bracket racing (trying to run a certain E.T) that is lame. I do have an ET goal for my car, but plan to exceed that goal over and over. :mpd:

The way I see it, a lot of people’s interests have changed over the years. Houses, families etc. are the priority for a lot now. Lets face it, when UBRF started, you were all little kids and I was young. lol
Nothing wrong with still having a passion for racing, nothing wrong with no longer having it either.
Understandable. Some people grow out of it, some people have a passion for it and never do, some people were never into it in the first place and just did it to look cool. Where is the new generation? I think the problem here is new people come on here and see a bunch of old farts talking about everything BUT car stuff. They sign up, look around and never post again.
Although you might be right I think that this community as a whole has been established and has evolved to what it is now. It would be silly to think it should(or could) cater to a minority interest(new leet racers yo) and not majority(old farts). Basically it is what it is man.

I don’t know. Remember how packed the night we used to have out were? I think part of it is cars have gotten so fast. But I am not really sure what happened. People are deff still into racing as evidence when I would go to NYI last year and get in 2 runs sometimes.
We were also young and retarded back then. I bet the young retards are still out racing and if presented with the opportunity to b involved we would all want nothing to do with it haha.
