The Mustang (driven by previous owner) ran low 12s on ET Streets. I have gone back to street tires.
I am not a big track person as 100% of the time I have gone I end up on a flatbed coming home so I am a spectator there but always in for a fun cruise up there.

It probably won’t be that easy, since mine is an '85, it’s called a Hot Air car, it’s a turbo 3.8, but no intercooler. My car they made a lot less of compared to the 86/87 intercooled cars, so not as many aftermarket goodies, but there are some people that have made them fast, it just takes more work.
Luckily i already have a few things, fuel pump, 80# injectors, 3" Downpipe, up pipe. But I still need to get some kinks out before installing any of those parts, and the body will be down before any engine stuff. All my patch panels are welded so that’s all set, just need to paint the door jams, slap the doors on and then get the car down to metal, epoxy, high build, block, base, clear and buff!
Plenty of guys going fast in turbo cars with no intercooler. Just get and Alky Control kit and spray meth under boost.
