doesn’t proper turbo sizing play into intake temps as well? i’ve also seen on snowmobiles where they mounted extra injectors in the intake before tb’s to cool down intake temps instead of using an intercooler. more economical than going to a dual injector tb. not sure if anyone has tried applying that to a car.

If we have dyno numbers we have to be sure to really really ricer it up. Correction factors!
Donovans dyno gets a .75 and JNJ gets a 1.25
So 1000rwhp = 750rwhp on donovans and 1250rwhp on JNJs
Be sure to come up with a weighting percentage and make a formula to have a probable ET. Because if you only run say a 11.1 but you dyno 8xx on JNJs you should be looked at as a 9 or 8sec car right? Because that is what SHOULD have happened it just didn’t when reality got in the way.
I don’t understand the big deal about dyno numbers. its a tuning tool, the hp number is bulshit…different dynos read differently and dyno operators can tweak things to inflate results. the number it runs is what matters.
Dyno numbers don’t mean shit. It’s a tool for people that just want to run their mouth and claim something without running the car… I’ve beaten 1500hp+ cars, and lost to 600hp cars.
True. There are a lot of things obviously that factor into a race other than just power so the numbers are kind of a lame gauge but I guess if there’s nothing else to go off of

. I plan to run E-85 which will also cool the intake charge down from what I hear.
Yeah im probably gonna be rocking the stock turbo with more boost so it will heat it up a bit but E-85 should help and even then maybe I’ll run alky but I hear you don’t need it when using E-85, because E-85 also has a cooling effect.
Mine made 848 on JnJ’s internet dyno on 17psi which is what I was on when I raced dos in this video. Right after this I had to get off the the thruway because I blew pieces off my clutch and part of it was welded to the flywheel… But that’s just a ricer excuse. A month before this I put the train on him with 200 less wheel hp but that never got recorded oddly enough. I also ran that 800hp Audi and that PR red s2000 and that was on wastegate pressure, but I guess that never got posted on here? Oh well
I get what you guys are saying but Jesus Christ don’t you ever get sick of JNJ this and JNJ that and jnj vs Donavan and jnj vs new era and vs this group vs that group my god. I just want to enjoy my car wether that be washing it in my driveway taking it for a cruise taking it to the track etc.
