@cretinx there have been other passionate defenders of Auto-X here in the past. In fact most of us older guys did a LOT of Auto-X back in the day (2001+) but generally grew tired of it so we started to go to Dunnville & TMP instead. It cost a bit more but seat time was measured in hours not minutes. I used to Auto-X at almost every event but now personally I’d rather do a Wednesday or Friday night at TMP. @bing and I go during the week in the summer, you should join us.

Well, I do endurance racing now so my seat time is measured in DAYS not hours - but I still love autocross too. I love everything.

Except drifting. Drifting is for people who eat dicks with their butts.

I’ve done AutoX - It’s fun.
Maybe I’ll take the nova to one and ham fist it into some cones.
@cretinx I think most have gotten past the point of the point of drifting our mom’s camry but I’d gladly take you up on the offer of a free energy drink if I manage to make it out this year.

No one in this thread was bragging about driving skills or hating on Auto X in anyway. You come out of no where, sounding like a total douche spewing your bullshit Auto-X leg humper stuff. Most people here are just talking about friendly competition, mostly if not all drag racing. Auto X is fun but not really what this thread is aimed at…

Have you ever watched an actual drifiting session? I’m wasn’t a big fan either, but watching it happen irl really made me appreciate it more.

Does it take a certain gene mutation or something to become an auto-x enthusiast? Every auto-x’er seems to have the same shitty attitude towards people who don’t go cone dancing. It’s really a turn off to the whole idea.

I had fun autox’ing, I don’t have the car for it now, currently I’m trying to setup my car for drag racing. I probably won’t street race, and my car is going to be slow probably this year and maybe next year.
