2016 Ford GT

We used to be a solely Ford family. Grew up that way, my grandfather worked at the stamping plant.

That said, boxxa’s input sounds more biased against Ford than being representative of the whole. I just recently got away from Ford for two reasons. A. They are getting very expensive and B. No more Z plan. Other than that, my multiple mustangs, including a GT500, a Crown Vic and an Edge equated to zero problems.

Edit Two Escort ZX2s as well

If you ever are in the market for another Ford don’t let the no Z-plan scare you off. My past 3 fords were all invoice price not a penny over (Raptor, 14 Explorer and another F150). We use to use x-plan discounts which save a little here and there, invoice price Saved me ~6k on my current truck.
I know a few dealerships that would rather sell quantity over squeezing every last penny out of each car. One dealer has done over 100 Raptors at invoice…

LOL at 2:07-2:24, sounds like utter shit for a supercar. Don’t be misled by the interior noises, you are hearing the transmission whining too.

Meah. I don’t think it sounds any worse than a Jag XJ220, or a Grand National for that matter.

Saw it at the Detroit show this past weekend. The new nsx looks pretty awesome too.

I would love to get into a Raptor some day. Thanks, I’ll keep you in mind.

I actually think that prototype sounds cool.

And the video of the GT idling is what Renzo’s truck sounded like with exhaust and tune. Constant turbo noise.

Ford will never get rid of a v8, the 2018 MO 5.0 update will be pretty crazy. And the GT’s 3.5 base engine is not even close to the current 3.5 ecoboost, let alone all of the other hardware

Whats the 2018 MO 5.0 you’re talking about?

I sort of like it… not my favorite sound ever, but not too bad… one of the best sounding V-6s thats for sure

$400,000, Sell 250 Per Year

WOW.

Are they out of their minds? A 458 Italia is less than $250k.

Did they release the price on the NSX yet?

My guess is they need to produce X number of units to compete as a production car. So they know the supply and they estimate the demand is high enough to command that price.
I am pretty sure these are being hand built in CAN by Multimatic.

All that money and you can’t even get a “Made in USA” sticker on this inside of the door…

I’m making a 458 my weekend warrior and DD’ing an Aston Martin for $400k.

Guess the aventador was the pricing target, not the 458

It even added a ballpark price that should weed out all but the most serious car enthusiasts: about $150,000.
