Looking for an old Webber 22" charcoal grill mainly for the lid. Would pay a reasonable fee for just the lid if available. Thank you -Zac
I might have one laying around in the basement. Won’t be back in town till the 21st through. Will update if you haven’t found one yet by then.
Epic win. Thank you kindly
Any luck by chance? I know you just got back, but it came to mind. Thank you.
Thx for reminding me. Totally forgot. On my way to work will check in the am when I get out and report back.
Nice grills.
Sorry @Spam16v it’s not there. It wasn’t used in a couple years prob went out to the cabin or even trash.
Thank you for looking

If you’re making a drum smoker, you can use the lid from pretty much any brand 22" kettle grill. I found a Masterbuilt on craigslist for like $20. I used an open head drum, so I had to modify the lid to make it fit by welding it to a spare drum lid and then cutting out the center. I have a weber that i use for grilling, and that lid is also a little too small to fit on the open head drum. I believe if you use a closed head drum and just cut it open, the lid will fit without modification.
It works beautifully, btw.
Oh, we’re smoking plenty in the drum, I’m trying to gain capacity and put in the second grate for ribs and chicken halves/quarters and legs so I can pile it full of meat.

Oh, have you gotten a PitIQ for temperature control? It’s awesome.
No PitIQ here. I thought about getting one initially but this thing holds temp amazingly well. I have to do a minor adjustment to the intake once every 3-4 hours. The PitIQ looks awesome though.
I built mine with 2 racks with the same intention, but only had the flat lid at the time. There was barely any clearance on the top shelf. The dome lid made a huge difference. I could do 8 pork shoulders in the 8lb/each range now, but I don’t have a small army around to feed lol.
I’ll ask around and see if I can find anyone that has a lid and let you know
