I have no problem saying it I am not made of money; I have a normal job, normal bills, mortgage, insurances, fines to pay, booze to drink… just like everyone else. All done on my dime, not family money, not gifts, no help what so ever since I turned 16. With that being said, I am not looking for a “hip hip hooray” just stating that I have nothing to hide, and I have no problem sharing some of my personal life with the world. Its just funny how people have different ways of showing off their hard work, so sometimes lack there of… but whatever the case is people will have opinions about everything. that’s life. And if he is as well off as it seems, and truly busted the balls he did to earn all of his money… its no big deal if he shows it off, or if he doesn’t. to each their own. It seems like 9 times out of 10 the ones that show it off, have flaws, just saying. One humbling experience I saw was when my uncle introduced me to a little old man, in ragged looking cloths at Home Depot once. I was the nicest guy I ever met… as we walked away my uncle asked me if you would believe that that guy owns a lot of Ferrari’s and is a billionaire. You wouldn’t never know it. That’s someone that I feel doesn’t flaunt the money he has. Just enjoys doing what he chooses with his millions and keeps it to him self. Maybe because of that I was a little biased in my replies. :number1
I totally disagree with you and to me you sound more jealous than anything.
It’s one thing to rag on someone for flaunting money that they did not earn. But for someone that works very hard for what they have, sacrifices time with friends/family/etc, and works 100 hours a week to get what they want, then by all means they have a right to show off the rewards of their hard work.
And at first when I heard Tony dosen’t have a house but has $$$ into cars/toys etc, I thought that’s not very smart. But after thinking more about it, in a way it also makes sense. Maybe he just isn’t ready to commit to a house. A house ties you down, unlike cars and toys, because you can’t move a house long distances. I do the same thing, if I wanted I could sell my cars, my toys, and buy a house and drive a shit car because it would be all I could afford. But I am young, I don’t want that responsibility right now, especially when running a full time business on my own. So for now its apartments/cars/toys.

Its honestly not jealousness on my part at all. Its getting twisted into that. Read back on how it started, I replied to peoples posts about their opinions on the situation, and I simply said I thought the same way and added more supporting reasons as to why. I have my toys and while they are not high dollar, they serve their purposes and I feel good about them… just like he is with the damn wheels. We all like to be proud of the things we have, no doubt.
Like you said, its all about living life and then growing up. Aparently i skipped out on some of the first part and jumped in the second. Its no big thing, it is what it is. So yeah maybe it could be jellousness if you call it that. mehh.
Its exactly the case with my house. I dumped in more money that he has in cars into it last year. I am the same age as him. When timewarner came over to install the cable, the kid asked me if I was a drug dealer. lol I feel proud when people come over and see the work i did and the money i spent on it… but its not thrown around. Actually I feel kind of bad sometimes when I have people over becasue I know their situations and dont want them to feel less than me somehow. I also never tell someone how much I spent on my stuff if they want to know let them find out some other way. Also a house makes you money when doing it the right way, a car doesnt unless it becomes a collectors item. Infact adding 28’s to a truck will depreciate the value to anyone looking to buy it other than someone like the person who built it.
I still respect him as a person, even if i think some of the actions arent the best or wernt the things I would have done. And I have yet to even meet the guy. So all this is just kiddy bantering over a keyboard to kill some time at work as far as I am conserned. Unless someone crosses the line big time in real life, I still respect them for the choices they make, I have thick skin like that I guess. You all know I put way too much into my posts here. lol My words are harsh sometimes, sure, maybe its hard to see my respect sometimes. I dont know.
