not sure why you would strip the interior making it fast, I doubt that little bit of weight would make much of a difference, this thing can’t be much more than 2k pounds right now.
with the awd and everything its about 2300 lbs and every little pound matters
stripping the interior is foolish, and wont net you any weight, unless you lose the front seats and replace them with aluminum buckets.
i mean the heater assembly weighs a few lbs, but to keep the streetability, your best course of action is to remove the sound deadening under the carpet, its about 30 - 35lbs all said and done.
Also the impact beams in the doors weight another 50+ for the pair. thats real weight savings, pressed thin plastic dosent weigh anything.
This car is crazy cool tho, you’ll find a buyer.

so i will be fixing the little body problems, fixing the oil pan leak and doing a couple other things before i really push a sale on it

How do you figure? Ever heard of flipping houses? People make impulse buys, run into financial binds, overextend themselves, there are tons of reasons to flip something back off quick. Plus he said he found a deal on a house sooner than expected, same reason I sold my teg which killed me to have to do but we all have choices to make
