I am selling my 1979 honda civic 5spd with an ls/vtec swap. I am asking 3k for it.
It Runs and drives. It is registered and insured. Needs some finishing work to 100%.
The car is a 79 but all the wires are from an 89 civic. It needs some attention in the wiring area.
The Motor was rebuilt by the previous owner with OEM Honda parts@2-3k ago.
MOTOR.
-B18B1 block, Gsr head which is port n polished.
-DC header straight piped to a vibrant muffler (not bad sounding at all)
-CCC tuned Xenocron ECU. It still needs some work in this area and i am going to get it fixed before sale.
-BBK Single stage induction manifold.
-Blox 70mm TB.
- short ram intake.
-Golden eagle fuel and a pressure regulator (not sure of the brand).
-Innovate wideband.
-External fuel pump.
the body is in good shape for a 79’ Honda, not great but good. It will need some love at some point. Everything is there for someone with Honda knowledge to complete.
I would rather have you show up and look at the car then ask a ton of questions if you are interested. (sorry not trying to be a jerk).
It’s almost ready for daily driving, If you know about honda’s then it should be simple to fix and you can fully enjoy the car. Its not a car you will see very often. I just need to cut my losses and move on.
Biggest needs: Fuel tank/cell: (previous owner hacked it up) works fine for now, but to be 100% it will need a new one.
Wiring: the gauge cluster works but doesn’t have lights.
Tune: Like i said i will try and have this all fixed before someone buys it, if not we can figure something out.
