3dsmax users? problem with max2008 64bit and vista x64

for some reason the 64bit version wont activate for me. I tells me that it did and that I need to restart the license server, which I do and still says it’s unregistered. The 32bit version works fine though.

anyone running this? know a work around? I know it’s probably a long shot, but figured I’d ask. I know a few people here are into it.

got it working, apparently MAX’s license server doesn’t like both versions installed, but for some reason when installing the x64 version, they make you install the 32bit version.

just un-installed it and all is good

they must have had some kind of confrontation from within… thats all I can think of.
