Yeah the swap was a complete headache because of the wiring. The engine is fun and is way better than the 4AFE but I suggest that if you want to swap, then swap for something bigger and faster. If I had a half cut and a competent mechanic then it would have been a lot better. Im working on putting together a page on all of the informaiton of the swap and grouping all of the resources I used together in one central location.

I have seen one alltrac around at a small dealer. the frame was pretty rusted

Mine’s pretty rusty as well. Probably why im just going to get it running and on the road. Its not going to be worth much more after a while.

There are few other ST165s in the area, but they aren’t active on any boards. There was a 1988 in Erie in pretty good condition. It was for sale in May when I was looking for another vehicle. I think he wanted something like $1,800 for it.

Definitely more ST185s around, though. But good luck finding one for less than $5k.

I bet that is the one old dirty purchased…
