^^ I agree with you both 100%, I have work done to my car, but its nothing your going to see at a show, but the car looks even better at S&R cruise night because of whats there. I have a minial amount of work done thats visible (I’ve taken the car and basically turned it into an MR on the outside) but at the same time I work hard to keep the car on the road let alone mod it and when someone else can enjoy it at a show filled with gayness, I’m happy too.

yeah. but at a halfway decent show. a stock looking evo is kind of like bringing a focus/escort/cavy the the S&R meet… My sti has about 10+ in it, but i don’t think that even it is really of that much interest for a show…
oh and another thing , laugh at my car all you want , but ask mazda guys what i have in it … its not a ford motor , and 2% of all escorts are the gt like mine , actually more rare then alot of other cars

ok 1…there are way more than 2% GTs…I have owned 2…and my brother owned one…other than the 127hp 1.8 Mazda motor that is in them and stiffer springs its still a regualr old escort by ford who owns Mazda…your car is not rare…i have seen it past years its a turd with a big stereo…now I love old Escort GTs but I sure as hell am not going to come on a Performance oriented forum and brag about my lil Escort GT that prolly needs a motor rebuild in the first place…

By all means I don’t think the Evo is top show quality; I’d never bring it anywhere big. You know I live right around the corner, and i never see any Evo’s or Sti’s representing so why not show off what an “import” really is. I have almost 10k in mods done to the car but there’s still no distinction that its not a stock MR, lets face it Buffalo/ Niagara Falls has very few exotic cars worthy enough for a decent show. All I am saying is a pair of 12’s, some paint and some chrome on a car that I could pay cash for tomorrow is quite a distance away from show quality.
I’ve considered showing my '97 Grand Prix at the cruise nights but, being a cruise night “spectator” I know that very few people would even look under the hood since, almost everyone considers the Grand Prix “just a family car” so they say, “wow, its a grand prix…lame”.
Its totally stock exterior and plain looking engine bay, only the people that are familiar with modding grand prixs and/or really good at catching mods.
So, its kind of a waste to show all the hard work and time when a slight few would actually give a
…so I save the agravation.
you guys really are douchebags …lol…, obviously the guys in here with american hill billy muscle cars are so much better then us all. sorry guy get your head outta your ass , you see how many of the same cars are there , any brain dead hill billy can build a 350 , oh shit lets throw in a cam some headers and look like everything else there , im . ill park where im told and you , can stay out in the parking lot …
