MY car is in the shop getting 5 speed swap done…they called me a few minutes ago asking about wireing for it now i never gave them wireing for the 5 speed becasue i never knew about this…is it a big deal he said basically things like safty switches and things would not work right without the wireing for it …
is this even a big deal ? i told him just to by pass the wireing… ive never read anything about having to have it to make it work …
What do i need to get to have 5 speed wireing?? why do none of the write ups have this information

ive watch a friend do many five spd swaps. the wriing is no biggy
I see well they said they were going to look around to wreckers around here to try and find a harnes…i dont get it though i gave them the plugs with the wires cut on the tranny but they said like theres nothing to plug them into on the car…(from what i understand)…i hope they get it figured out…
I think the only wiring that is required by law is the reverse lights. Everything else is not as big a deal.
reverse light and i think the saftey swtich for when its in park . it hink thats waht they were talkin about
Yeah things that like …cruise control ect…well varun is sending me a lower wireing harness so it should be okay now once i give it to them,thanks guys
espically varun 
5 speed harness is the easy way to do it, they should be able to run 4 wires to make it work though (VSS and reverse lights)
even with the 5 speed harness you still have to do some wiring though.

I gave the shop a lower wireing harness that i got from varun yesterday…and they say it already has it ? man im geting pissed off…like what elese is there to need i dont understand what they want are the plugs not there to plug into on the automatic car? like …this really makes me mad now i thought i had all this ship covered acordingto the how to guides on the net …it doen really say wireing is that much of a problem…
Seems they finally got it under control …nvm about this.
they sound like they don’t know what they’re doing, the wiring is damn simple.

It’s 2 wires that need to be shorted for the inhibitor switch (so you can start your car) and the other 2 are for your reverse lights.
Well picked up the car this morning all seems to be in place good 5 speed takes getting used to thats all…lolit was a bit more moeny they i got quoted …so that kinda sucks…but i gues its worth it…its a bit more i got them to change the diff and tranny all sinthetic fluids
