FOR EXAMPLE, i love Turbo regals but when the owners start saying how they destroy vettes its always straight line. A vette would DESTROY a g-body in every other aspect for the most part.
if you support that then how can you not support other types of racing besides drag racing. a vette isnt setup for a stop. they can easily do better from a roll
you could buy a damn yugo for $500 and upgrade it to beat a vette in the twisties and straightline, but in the end you’re still stuck with a yugo. I hate to admit it because I don’t like vette’s, but the new vette is a nice car and in a completely different league than the mustang. They never were competitors, and never will be.

actually the new cobra is compared to the Z0six. and the whole yugo thing is the same as why mod a honda or any of its cousins

i’m not even talking about racing, just everyday driving. its pretty hard to lose a vette going too fast into a corner (well if u know what your are doing, most people that can afford a vette can’t drive thats why u see them in roll overs)

vettes are what makes having the same features on regular GM cars 4 years later affordable. If chevy added in research and develepment into a cost of a vette, it would be very hard to afford on. But since they use the technology in other cars later on they can justify it and sell that vette at a bargin price. Not saying 45-50g’s is a bargin but when put up agaist vipers and other competitors the vette is a steal for that price.
