504HP/550lb-ft stock Toyota?

yes, aslong as its installed by a dealership.

yes warranty on truck is the same and the supercharger has a 50,000 miles 7 year. also his truck has the sway bar, he orderd the brakes and the 20 inch trd wheels for it 2. Dam thing woke right up with the supercharger! Its also acrew cab. Ill snap some pics.

So whats the mpg like with the SC added on?

what other car would this fit in?

wow $5k for 150hp!!! Isnt the scion TC s/c also $4k-5k and adds 30hp lol… So you can install this on an 4wd version right? What a sick winter whip that would be

the car would have to be massive. I can’t think of a car that would effectively take a 5.7L swap, especially with the drivetrain. The motor is fucking massive.

IMO I would much rather take a 4-runner (v8 sport with x-raes) and put the S/C on it…much better suspension and 4wd system

4runner’s don’t have the right motor for this s/c.

Um if he drives regular its like 12-14 so just like stock. These trucks suck on fuel econ. Oh and its not cheap for the SC, i think it ended up costing him over 7 grand.

ever driven a S/c’d v8 runner? its dumb fast…dont care if its not the same SC lol

Thats not too bad I suppose, hell it’s as good as any ford diesel. Personally I’d rather buy A duramax since Chevy is practically giving them away right now.

no, i thought you meant…throw this s/c in a 4runner.

not a bad truck for a toyota. atleast they did the smart thing and make it all available as dealer installed options so you dont have a $45k truck on the lot at the end of the model year that you have to see for dirt cheap to get rid of it. Anyways, i would take a Syclone over this any day. Back in 1991 GMC said the Syclone had a 0-60 time of 4.6 seconds…in the rain. So whats this tundra do in the rain?

My duramax gets amazing fuel econ, 24 in the city around 30 on the highway. I do have all the bully dog suff for it though. But its a great truck and can haul ass. the tundra is also a great truck but kinda pricy and toyota really wont give a good deal. A new limited fully loaded from northtown was only 3 grand off and still a 48g truck.

a stock 5.7 tundra is faster than probably most peoples cars on this forum.
mine included.

did you get 30mpg by doing the MPG calculation by hand?

Racing in the rain is stupid, and so is WOT in a wet envirnoment.

As far as anyone is concerned, this Tundra has a faster 0-60 time than the Syclone and the SRT10. Exactly where is this argument coming from? :roflpicard:

No offense but you don’t get 30 mpg on the thruway, unless you are doing like 30mph down a hill.

My dad had a duramax, and I had a modded cummins and the best we both ever saw was 21 mpg on the thruway

I get 74 mpg in my modded LS1. The mods increase fuel economy, its great.

Seriously I get 28 highway.

I guess it is sort of cool. Cool in the way of paying 7K on top of a new truck to get 500 hp…

Build a 408 for a silverado for much less then at and rip face.

Oh no warranty boo whoo

And I could build a civic for less than that, and rip your silverado.

That’s not the point here
