504HP/550lb-ft stock Toyota?

^ at least he’s comparing apples to apples. Let’s see how well your built Civic can hold sheets of plywood.

My uncle regularly gets 24mpg highway with his, but 30 seems very high. For comparison the best i could get in my works new powerstroke was 12:mamoru:

Beautiful truck… just loose the chrome grill, it looks so out of place. It should be black.

I just whipped out the Civic comment to prove a point.

The SRT-10, Syclone and this Tundra really aren’t made for the sole purpose of lugging stuff around. You don’t need 500+ hp to do that.

The SRT-10 also has a lower towing capacity than the standard 2008 Tundra. On top of that, it’s a pain to even use the bed because of the spoiler, functional or not.

The Syclone’s towing capacity is laughable, although the bed is more useable.

Tundra == more useable as a truck, and faster.

Since all the add-ons are aftermarket, Toyota’s CAFE numbers won’t be effected since the truck isn’t rolling off the line. Not to mention I doubt you have to pay a ‘gas-guzzler’ tax on it.
Pretty smart actually.
