Same reason my parents financed their 08 legacy 5 years ago. They could have paid cash and were going to until they were offered 0% financing through Subaru for 36 mos. My father realized the 25k would be better off invested earning money for the three years, technically reducing their out of pocket cost on the car.

Yeah but…he could have bought an 02 WRX with a blown motor then sunk crazy money into it to make it how he wants. Why not do that??:lol
