im dying to see a pic of it lowered!
flap flap flap
joe… that is starting to look AMAZING!. Great work. Now lower the bitch and start driving it already
Working on it for about 7 hours on Saturday. I love car lifts
Degreased, scraped, and wire wheeled the underbody for a good portion of the day.

After:
Some minor touch ups are getting done to the car while I’m at work.
As for me, I’m working on installing new stainless steel brake lines, fuel line, electric fuel pump and new shocks all the way around. Also dropping the ass end down.
Need to do: Bring the exhaust to Muffler Man and get new collectors welded on and it shortened a slight bit. Cut down the driveshaft about 1 inch. Finish electrical work and then fire it up.
Other than that, finish assembling interior (seats, door panels, and dash). Get new power steering lines made. And get an alignment.
Busting my butt to get it done :snky:
Good to see buddy  That looks a million times better than before!
That underside looks great!
Got some more work done today
Exhaust was originally made by MufflerMan, but the collectors wouldn’t bolt up and it was too long with the big block. Brought them back to get shortened and new collectors made. Will bring the car there when it is done to get them welded back on.
And in
From the other day, 4 new KYB shocks - showing through the 2" Hotchkis drop springs
Also got all the brake lines on. Finishing those this weekend and installing the master cylinder and proportioning valve.
Minor touch up and spring drop in the beginning of the week, and hoping to put all 4 new wheels on and trailer it home to finish up electrical and fire her up
darn, i was thought this was the date you said it was done… that is ok i am still tuned in

Trying… When its at the shop, I get limited hours to work on it. When it comes home, the mad rush begins
I really, really, really want it on the road early June. I got to get a few months in at least
tons of progress since I’ve seen it, or logged on here.

Thanks… Dropping the rear leafs and doing some touchup work to the body and hopefully it comes home next weekend. Then going to finish the wiring and start it up
its looking good mang here is a quick picture of the 69’ project of my g/f dad
Dropped the rear shackles from 70’s racing height to normal.
Gave it about 2 inches worth of drop. Looks 100% better
BTW, here is the before height before the drop
Also put on the cooling lines and radiator hoses. Getting closer
looks like a whole different car with it dropped that far now looks like its coming along great

After we put on the rear wheels we did notice the front springs are starting to drop a little bit. I think sitting on a lift for 2 weeks stretched them out. But the new stance is
I hope to get it home early next week to finish wiring and some minor work and then fire it up.
