And a pic of the modern tailights

I kinda like the modern. Does give it more of the resto-mod look we were talking about.

Nice thing is you can always unbolt and eBay whatever if you don’t dig it two years from now.

And you need to update that signature, like, yesterday

I have been swaying towards the modern. And yea, I’ll get to my signature eventually. We still have WNYCarClubs.com, so it points people to RodandPiston.com. And I want some GOOD pictures of the Camaro for it. Pics of it in my driveway just don’t cut it.

modern ftmfw! its a subtle change that goes with the rest of the car. You’ll just have to remember to turn the car around in the garage so everyone who stops by can enjoy them…

You suck… Well, you can be one of the first to see those tails at a gradual distance.

I really liked them taillights till I seen how much they cost for my car 67-68 $485 and for the 69’s its only $280 plus $12 shipping. Yeah I’m not buying them thats a crazy price, but for the 69 tails I like the standards:tup:

If you like them you would like the billet hood hinges…only $625 lol

i dont know why but i like the standard. the modern ones seemed weird…the bend in the chrome throws it off in my opinion. the standard goes with your white stripes more…the car has more straight/define lines on the rear end then curvy lines.
STANDARD PLEASE!

those door panel looks ballin! but i dont think it will match anything in the stock interior would it?

The 67-68 use a lot more material than the 69, probably the reason for the price jump. The sad part is a bought brand new taillights and lenses which cost about $300. And getting the billet and the LED will run me around $500. So hopefully I can find a buyer for the original stuff.

As for the hinges, nice, but too rich for my blood.

I saw a lot of the Modern ones at SEMA and really do like the look of them. Plus I’m making my car stand out from the sea of 69 Camaros.

As for the door panels, you would have to have custom seats made to match. But the style of those goes along with the design I would want. But that is baller $$$$. I might talk to Mark at SCAP about working with me to make new door panels over next winter.

OK, Spring is coming. I have some new toys coming for the Camaro.

Next week I pick up some SSBC 4 wheel disc brakes with matching blue powdercoated calipers. I can not wait to get these on!

Going to order the billet taillights and possibly the LED turnsignals.

And my lazy ass is getting back into the garage to get it roadworthy for March/April  or whenever the weather gets nicer.

I guess I’d better go crawl back under mine soon, then :stuck_out_tongue:

Sounds delicious

Well when we were at SEMA the past years, we always checkout out the SS Brakes display there. Not sure if you all know, but this company is right in our backyard (Clarence)

So in talking with them this year, I mentioned that I was looking into getting new brakes since the Camaro has been completely gone through and since I have some nice shiny 18" billet wheels.

So, I ended up getting some not only great performance rated, but amazing quality, great looking brakes from them.

Here is a pic of the front 3 piston caliper just for a tease until I go through all the boxed.

We also got a tour of the facility, and it is very impressive. The R&D, warehouse, testing, etc. Seems like a tight run ship that makes some awesome product.

That car is perfect!! I hope my car turns out half as good as yours man!!! I’m thinkin of getting Jesse to blast mine too. I’ve been friends with that turd since he was in like 5th grade. He does my atc and motorcycle stuff. I love that color too. Lucky bastard!!

Some pics of the cross drilled slotted rotor

They aren’t that great of pictures since it was my cameraphone. Better later.

I think the modern tail lights are a lil gay looking. I prefer the standard or the RS.

The car looks AWESOME. Great job.

Man, I had to bump my post up from the 2nd page. It’s been too damn long!

I sooooo missed being in the garage.
Thanks to Pauly, we had a very productive night in the garage.

Overall, pretty smooth installation. Everything lined up perfect and smooth. SSBC’s kit is AMAZINGLY complete with everything and more to complete an install.

Next is the rear disc setup.
