What kind of work/time does maintenance involve?

Minimal…you would need to check the levels of salt/water ratio, ammonia levels bi-weekly. Most of all the tests you can do on the water are very easy. The snails and hermit crabs eat the majority of the algae and i also have a magnetic scraper to clean the front of the tank if there is any buildup that they didn’t get. I really love having the tank but we just had a baby and hes been taking up the majority of our free time so i just figured to get rid of it.

im so tempted to drain down my 45 and put the fish in our 55 to make room for this.

hmmm im some what interested, what kind of lights does it have? And is the tank itself only a year old or just been up and runnning for a year?
