I posted this up last year, but to avoid confusion… we’ll do it again.
If ya want it, come and get it. I live in Alabama NY. It’s in 55 gal drums, you can back your whatever up to it.
It has been sitting outside for about a year. One barrel has been covered, the other has not. So it’s all probably pretty wet. I don’t know what type it is.
One drum nearly full, the other slightly over half full.
Gallon is the new measurement for coal by the way… for those who didn’t know.
It’s not like people use coal in coal stoves or any thing…
There’s probably some scraps of wood mixed in. So something that is a multi fuel burner would be best… Unless you don’t mind a couple scraps of wood. I mean like, a small 1"x1" cube here and there or something piece… not 18" cord wood splits.
Lol I dunno.
I’m too lazy to figure out the weight of it. Other than heavy.
figure out how much space 80 gallons fills in cu/ft… get the weight of coal per cu/ft… and there ya go.
I THINK it was close to half a ton. It wouldn’t overload any truck…
edit;
nevermind was easier than i thought
80 gallons = 10.7 cu/ft
sorry, didn’t notice it got bumped. Yeah I still have it.
Right now it’s sitting behind about 50-60 pallets… So they’ll have to be moved to the side if you want to get it. I can help with that part though
Maybe.
I pulled a muscle in a… bad spot last week. So I can move the pallets, but can’t help shovel coal
Unless you wait a while.
do you have some kind of forklift or high lift by chance? I’d be interested in it for fires in the summer… Theres gotta be a way to get it into a truck bed without the aid of a shovel
