I’m putting up for sale my 86 GT. Car is amazingly solid. Not a drop of rust on or under the car. Came from Ohio. Paint isn’t in the best of shape but she still shines up nice. Motor, tranny and rear end have less than 4k miles on it. The only thing I would do is swap out the carb. She really needs a double pumper on her. Other than that she’s great. Takes me back and forth to work and my son to school with no hiccups. It has a cage in it but I cut out the drivers door bar and the bar behind the seats. Was planning on making a pin on door bar and new rear bar but never got around to it. Interior isn’t in the best of shape but its got a new black carpet.
Motor is a 311ci, 10.0-1 compression, Keith Black dome pistons, GT40 heads, Crane .498/.498 cam. Holley 750, Weiand Xcelerator intake, Mac 1-5/8 long tube headers, Flowmasters, Tremec T5Z trans, B&M ripper shifter, King Cobra clutch, 3.73 geared 8.8 31spline trac loc with 8 discs, 31spline Moser axles, Southside lowers, Frame ties, Rollbar, Mallory fuel pump with 8an braided lines to the carb from a 12 gallon fuel cell. Flaming river manual rack. Car weighs around 2600lbs without driver. Hooks hard on a 17" snow tire on the street.
Price? $4500 or best offer. Trades? I’m always open to trades. Especially if they have cash coming my way. Fuel injected mustang, luxury, suv, jap scrap. I’m open to it.
