A month or so ago my 91 accord lx exhaust fell off mid-way so I decided to look around for a complete stainless cat-back system from exhaust manifold to muffler. Just wondering what’s reccommended and a good direct bolt on without any issues. Looking at all the ebay manifolds and catbacks they seem to be all the same price range. Im not looking for the most performance just mainly the best fitted one in the $200-300ish range. Its cheaper then buying from Honda and I dont have to worry about any rust. Thanks.
hmm usually the ebay ones have a crappy fit to them… Ive always stuck to genuine honda for them, they seem to last long enough, plus mufflers are lifetime waranteed. I like hondaautomotiveparts.com

For an entire exhaust system minus the manifold and cat it would cost me over $400 and thats with an employee discount from the dealership. To me its not worth it.
Also I was wondering if theres any differences in the models since I noticed some have dual exhaust manifolds, I have a single and that my accord is a 2dr so Im not sure if the exhaust is shorter than the 4drs.
Yeah Ive always heard that the ebay systems need some work to get them to fit right. I dunno if its worth the headache for the $ you save. Your call I guess.
Well I figured its atleast a complete system so Im not trying to fit it onto stock exhaust components. As long as the manifold itself bolts onto the block cleanly I would think I wouldnt run into any major issues but who knows. Im just tired of “soon to rust” overpriced honda exhaust components. I have already replaced the muffler twice and 2 exhaust sections over the last 7 years with this car with Honda parts.
