Yes it could. If you come down for that bumper, you should take a look at the swap i’m doing on my LX.
I would love to swap it, I just dont have the money, and mind you, this is all original. The only new things on the car are all 4 tie rods, heater core, , alternator, and obviously upgrade from stock stereo and speakers. That exhaust is original off the assembly line and it sounds like its old. But my motor is loud when I get on it.
And I probably will. I cant find a white one anywhere else, so I’ll get the white rear gt bumper maybe off the one at M&M.
That would work too. The one with blue trim had a good rear bumper. and there are 4 or 5 other white escorts in there.
I went through every row of cars twice and only found one 2dr LX car and the whole front end had been taken off it, I think their was another, a 4 dr. The bumpers are the same I believe.

That was the only color I had and I wanted some way to protect from rust. I was there on monday of this week and I’m going with a few people on saturday. Would you possibly be available for me to come out and get that LX bumper today? I’m not sure yet but I might have to go out to rochester to get my friend his 1g talon transmission.
I told myself I would not wash my car until I got the front bumper for it… I couldn’t do it.

The new front bumper thanks to KellerSVT. I also started sanding down my rear bumper because I am planning on painting it white. The only problem is finding an white that is a bit off, which I think I have, I will find out tomorrow when I apply the first coat.
hey i almost tossed out the front gt spindles yesterday, you want them come and get them… i might even have good calipers to give ya, i just want them gone, and i have a gt front bumper ill let go cheap,i think i have 3 fronts now… let me know i need more room to strip another one…
I was told by kellersvt that ZX2 struts would fit in my car with the exception of the center bolt on top of the strut. If I do this I could then lower the car maybe next year or depending on when i can get low profile tires for it. If I lower it now, the rear tires will rub on the fenders. So I will roll them up a bit inside the fender and see how everything falls into place.
This is what it looks like now, I sanded, put a light coat on and sanded again, took it off the car so it was easier and still needs a good deal of attention.
I think it will look a lot better once it is finished than the day I bought it or at least it better.
I also have to complete the trim on the side and would like to find a white GT grill to go on this. yunvme666? I think you said you had grills, I will take one and paint it if needed, how much for one?
And one last thing to kellersvt, that radiator fan you gave me was not the same as the one that was in there, different mosle numbers and they had different plug ins.

zx2 struts are escort struts, you want the zx2 s/r struts, they have a larger diameter shaft , are shorter, and different valving inside… and you cant just order them at a parts store…you will also need the front bearing plate, and mount…
That sicks cuz I’m in the same boat. I need that one anyways. The LX fan doesn’t work with the GT wiring harness. Give me a call and stop by so we can trade up.

if you really want to lower you car this yr, i have new st springs i had warrantied from them, and i can give you brand new oe style struts… and if you know the right people you can just keep using the lifetime warranties on it all… im goin s/r and maybe intrax springs when i do this one…

and with lowering it, probably not until next year when I can get low pros on it.
what is that an odd offset? i fit 205/50/15 on one of mine before, with the same springs…
