91 Nissan 240SX vs. Mazda 3 (GT)

Newbie here.

A close friend of mine and I are having a discussion on which car would win. I’ve got a 1991 Nissan 240SX and he is about to purchase a Mazda 3 in a couple of weeks. Don’t really know the exact speeds but a 91 240 is around 155hp and a Mazda 3 would be around 160hp since its a GT.

Who would take it stock? 240 or Mazda 3?

Plus he is planning to add an intake and exhaust as soon as he gets it.

Is there a way I can get a upper hand on him without adding a SR20? Exhaust and Intake I can add but are there any other mods I should do or any specific exhaust/intake I should get?

(price should be a bit reasonable)

Anything would be helpful even if it only add 5hp. hehe

yes, if you want to make him look stupid all day long there are some tools o this website that will help you out a lot. It will greatly increase the flow of your exhaust…

ya i drove the blue baboon to a mighty 15.7 which is the 2nd fastest time on all of mazda 3 forums for a Stock mazda 3 sport 5 speed.

if you loose him in ther corners then you car is actually good.
