ya actually theres quite a few…Allen the guy who owns the place My buddy Mike LaDuke and a couple other guys…really nice place over there…its a good gym and there all great people
ahhhHHAHA, who gave them their black belt in BJJ? I highly doubt there are any creditable black belts in BJJ in this area. If there really are, then great, but I doubt it.
can’t believe I missed this at first… AHHHHAHHAHAHA :lol :lol :lol
I speculated that as well. I find it really hard to believe that there are a “couple” of certified black belts over there. I only know of one guy that has his black belt who I used to train under. http://www.victoryjj.com I’m not 100% on this but i’m not even sure if Cohoes Boxing has any certified black belts there either. I’m pretty sure Bruno over in Latham may have one.
Did a little quick research on this guy’s studio. He is a black belt martial artist, it doesn’t actually say in what though. He could be certified black belt in BJJ. I didn’t see anything else on the other guys 91Integ posted about though.

Nice come back you trust fund bitch
i never claimed to be the ultimate MMA master and i believe its was carlos machado who issued the belts…My buddy Mike and Allen are Deff black belts…im not sure of any others
any legit BJJ black belt should be training top notch fighters and not running some after school training program
Try and bash that place all you want but Mike LaDuke has had three fights and held the belt for his weight class in NJ…2 0f the 3 fights were finished by submission
I is mma god
3 fights is not a lot of fights.
ding ding, one hitter quiter. It was impressive,he ran his mouth and then you put him out for the night with one punch after letting him punch you for a little bit. It was great
Walt is butterbean
1 TKO, 1 submission. Each of the guys he beat only fought once and never fought again.

his two wins weren’t even sanctioned MMA fights. Only official fight he had, he lost. reality check.
I’m not out to bash anyone. I think it would be awesome to have a BJJ blackbelt in the area, but incredibly stupid. No one comes to this area to train.
Oh come on of course they come to albany to train
I used to be, no one on these forums has seen me for almost 2 years, ive lost quite a bit of weight.
haha I let him hit me a bunch of time, hes my friend, so i needed to be hit to get motivated. Then i just started pummeling him and he spent the rest of the night with a towel on his face hugging his girlfriend lol.
We have guys that have gone professionally in the area and have made it to the UFC. Matt Riddle from The Ultimate Fighter Season 5 was one of them. This area actually does have decent fighters. A couple of them I personally know train at New York Boxing under Shannon Miller, Ryan Clark, and also Rob Kahn when he comes up from his studio in Tampa.
