Mine is pretty much ready to rot off the truck.
Just looking for one in decent shape, paint color doesn’t matter, but has to be pretty solid with a working handle.

Even after my comments in the M&M thread a tail gate is pretty easy to get off and it should not cost much. I would check it out since you are right there.
If that does not fail Craigslist may be your best bet.
I’ve been watching craigslist.
M&M is hit or miss, even at the yard I work for we haven’t seen a good S-10 come in in over a year…
