As retarded as this sounds, I bought the truck off of Craigslist for the tailgate, the kid just WOULD NOT sell me the tailgate so I took the whole truck.
Its a 99’ S-10 reg cab short box
There is no tailgate
The interior is pretty beat, the seats ripped and someone took the time to cut all the wrapping off the steering wheel so now its just a metal ring with an airbag in the middle. No radio, no power anything.
Cab has no rust, few dings and dents on the drivers side with one big dent in the box. Box appears to have been repaired at one time, rust over the passenger wheel well.
It runs good, its the 2.2L 4cyl engine, has 150k ish on it.
I purchased it under the impression it needs a “transmission”, but it appears as if it needs “transmission lines” as you put transmission fluid in it it comes right back out underneath the truck, could be an easy fix, but I really don’t give a fuck about it so I’m selling it, like I said, I’ve got my tailgate and that’s all I wanted.
Lights work, brakes look good, etc. Has two really good tires in the back and two ok ones up front.
I’m not sure how the front end is lowered but the rear end has spacer blocks, looks like it was done nicely.
Entertaining offers, its worth $500 in scrap, but I think someone could cheaply fix this and get it going so I’m posting it up here.
First $600 cash takes it home. Going to the junk yard on Wednesday.
