Tax season!!! While I’m waiting for my deposit, I figure I’d start looking. As the title states, I’m looking for a 96-00 Y8 manual transmission (S40). Not 92-95.
Let me know what you guys got. Condition, pics, prices, etc. I’m in Rochester and prefer to keep it relatively local as I don’t like driving too far out lol.
Got one out of my 2000 civic ex,has higher mileage but mostly highway was used to comute from salamanca to buffalo.Still in great condition shifts smooth no grinds or pop outs.feel free to text me at 716 353-6209

What would be considered low mileage for a 12-16 year old transmission?
Under 150k would be ideal, but again, I’m not paying an arm and a leg for one. I’ve already found a handful, just none that I’d like to use. Of course mileage doesn’t always mean everything but the lower the mileage, in general the more I’d probably be interested.
