My buddy is selling his car so I decided to throw it up on some sites for him.
Its a 97 gsx with some bolt on mods. The car has some where in the 130’s for mileage. I dont remember the exact number off the top of my head.
Mods:
Greddy 24row fmic
Apexi 3inch cat back
3inch downpipe
Ominipower coil overs(800 miles)
Act2600 with new fly wheel(3k on this)
Autometer cobalt series gauges including:Wideband,oilpressure, and boost
Alpine mp3/cd player
DSM LINK v2 with eprom ecu(not installed)
Walboro 255(not installed)
Precision 880cc injectors(not installed)
Has an ebay 16g(yea I told him it was junk but the t25 failed so this was the replacement)
Tial 38mm waste gate on the manifold
Carbon fiber hood(needs to be buffed)
Brand new paint job in the factory Greyish purple color
Has 4g wheels on it but comes with stock gsx wheels also(no tires)
Cons:
Oil return line leaks
Needs a dipstick
I would replace the turbo.
Over all the car runs pretty well just needs some love which his dumb ass wont ever do.
As far as price its best offer takes the car. He is not going to give it away but also does not think the car is worth its weight in gold like many others do. Will get better pictures this week end
The inspection is due as the car has not been on the road in over a year. Will pas inspection once dsmlink is hooked up or just get rid of the cel thats on(I think its on right now not sure). There is nothing inplace of the dipstick since the handle broke off he has yet to replace it due to the fact the car has been sitting in the same spot in the drive way for some time now
My buddy is open to any reasonable offer just none of the joke offers that some people have offered thinking they are going to get the car for 1500. The car will be long gone before the winter is over and the price of 3000 came about when people were throwing out offers. I wont have pictures any time soon as its dark when I get up and its dark when I get home but there is no strut tower rust and never has had any
Just my opinion, but low 3k is a very, very good price. If you were closer than albany I would throw out an offer, replace some parts/tune and sell on ebay for an easy 5k. Heck, if it is available much longer I probably will throw a not too low lowball offer out.
