I wanted to keep this and fix it but I need money to finish my project before may and realized im never going to get to this.

1998 forester. 5 speed. I didnt think to grab the mileage, but the motor has fewer miles than the chassis (maybe the previous owner will chime in more on that soon).

This was sold, then resold, then resold, then given to me in basically its current condition. I bet it has less than 500 miles put on it since the original sale.

The bad: Vehicle has NO exhaust pieces what so ever. Power steering fluid blows all over the place when running (until it ran out). Interior is, well…yeah. No battery. Tires are shot (dry rot), but hold air enough to move it around (one goes flat over the course of a day). There’s some interior pieces missing. Its been sitting for quite some time so the brakes need some attention. Its rough.

The good: I have a title (thanks!!). Got it to start up and run. Body isnt that rusty. Did I mention it runs?

If someone wanted to actually fix this up, my stepdad has a 99 forester parts car with most of the required pieces available (added cost of course).

Can deliver for free between lockport and cheektowaga (or close surrounding areas). Outside of that we can arrange a small fee.

Starting the bidding at $500/bo. Want this gone before the snow falls. Will consider a home defense shotgun for partial trade.

Unless you’re willing to add gas money it just doesn’t make sense for me. I’d break even just scrapping it and not having to drive at all.

I’m sure we could work out a deal with gas price, trade, or whatever. Just lmk if dont get what you desire local. Would be a good winter car
