I’ve got a gig tommorrow night, and the guys are going to be older 20s from what I’ve been told.
I covered some of the early 90s music, but I want to get some more hot tracks from the 97-00 years of rap and hiphop.
So…what are your favorite classics from that time period?
(Mine is quiet storm haha)

Don’t limit your self to 1997-up. Go back another three years or so too.
I have 2 crates off records that would fill that genre for about 2 hours. Too much to list.
Play anything Pete Rock/ CL Smooth, anything off of Illmatic, anything Daddie Listed…
Burn - Mobb Deep
If you can find some MAin Source (Fakin’ da Funk, etc), you drop that people will go “AAAAWWWWWW YEAH, NOW THAT’S THE SHIT RIGHT THERE!”
