a question on winter tires

Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone can give me some advice on winter tires…

i’m driving a 2005 altima se-r and thinking about getting either 16’s or 17’s for winter. anyone know if 16’s are ok or if i have to go 17’s?

also, does anyone have any used winters for sale with or without rims?

ya unfortunately if you have a true ser altima you will need 17" rims or larger for clearance for the calipers, I have a 05 altima SL with many mods. One being the ser calipers, brakes and rotors. So I found a guy selling rims off his 04 350z which are 18’s and I am using those for my winter setup, I have different chrome 18’s for summer. But the answer is yes you need to go with 17" tires if you plan on using your stocks or going with a steel rim setup. Actually you should go look on kijiji or other classifieds and look for tires or rims I bet you can even find 18’s or something off some one even best of luck in your search!
