its my personal preference. i cant stand front plates. the car has such a nice looking front end and the plate is just plopped in there, ya know? it wasnt designed to house that plate in some sort of a recessed space thats designed to be aerodynamically functional as well as esthetically pleasing, well, at least to me.

lol. Thanks. The grills on my car are from a GLI/GTI and the trim piece is normally red. I painted it blue to match the blue “I” in TDI and also made that badge for the grill.
