So I have a chance to pick up a set of brand new take off 20" 2011 Camaro wheels mounted brand new Pirelli P Zero tires (275/40-20 rears 245/45-20 fronts)
I want the wheels for my G8, but the tires are too big. Does anyone know if local tire shops will buy these tires (not at full price, I know) or accept them maybe on a trade for the tires I need? Better yet, anyone need these tires? I dont want to buy the set unless I know I can recoup some of the money from the tires.
Broadway used tires? They will probably just resell them as new and low ball you on the price. I expect 20’s would go rather quick considering their target base customer.
Other than that, eBay would be a good bet on resale value but shipping could kill you.
broadway used tires or craigslist… You’ll def be able to get rid of 20" tires no problem as long as your not asking a ton for them.
A possible long shot stretch may even be Redline. Either him or some of his friends with Camaros could be interested in some discount tires.
PCI Tire in Rotterdam on May Ave would buy the pirelli’s off of you, I can’t say for how much but they’ve done something similar for me before.
craigslist or camaro forums should get rid of them quick if they are in good shape.
How did you make out?
I bought the set and put the tires on ebay. Bought new tires and they are being mounted today. Should have them on the car tonight. I should be able to sell my stock wheels and only be out a few hundo and have brand new wheels and tires.

Almost seemed like they wanted to dispose of them and charge you $10 a tire instead of 5.
