well it depends on who’s 17. cuz quik, when u were 17 that was mid 90s when ZR1’s were stock in the 12’s and LT1 cars with bolt ons and tires were hittin mid high 13s. stock turbo 4.3 trucks were high 13’s stock. vettes were mid 13’s stock.
you’d have to have been 17 in the earlier 80s when all the cars were 15’s + except the vettes which may have cracked a higher 14. gettin one of those in the 12’s would be very amazing.
today tho at 17 gettin a non stock turbo 4 banger into the 12’s is still very impressive. i didnt know shit about cars at 17 and i still have lots to learn at 21. now if it was a LS1 car or factory issue turbo 4 like a DSM/WRX/etc, then 12’s wouldnt quite be as astonishing
exactly so age of 17 today isnt that impressive as if it was when i or a few order then me. say when brian was 17 so 20 yrs ago it was very hard to hit those times
