Hey all,

Good news and Thank BennyFizzle for this one;

Albany Speed Shop aka New Salem Saab is collecting and giving for FREE 16 & 17 inch tires to any and or all members of Shift518 and SlideNY.

The dealership regularly collects used tires as a part of the service operation and we now know you guys need them to “finish” the burn.

So we are collecting the right sizes and putting them aside for anyone to pick up for FREE. Now to be fair, we will limit the amount any one person can get at one time to four…This way everyone gets a chance to get some…and don’t worry we never seem to run out.

we are collecting them daily…some days more then others…

We have some out back now…not many as the truck took them tuesday…but thats ended…

i may start drifting my dads s13 after we get it 100% and we are allreaddy in need of some 205/55r16’s so when you get any decent ones in let me know

i used to get decent used tires from my old job at goodyear, continental conti-pro contacts are great tires for drifting, i saw someone using them at the last event

edit: this is a great thing you are doing for the drifting community

free tires, word out on the news, stickers, more events etc and drifting should take off pretty soon and start getting big over here
